“Baby, you can enter me if you release me from the endless expenditure that is aging. Can't live with it, can't live without it. Enough with the rambling: we all know what it comes down to: the eerie sense of fear of the darkness of a mid day before rain, the wetness of self-abandon, the stench of an open flower nearly dying, the self assurance of a lover that grabs at your fat and throat and makes your fragility obvious like a God would.”
A 30 minute performance incorporating poetic fragments, a collage of audio recordings, excerpts of dialogues from film scenes on love, the making of a drink, a dance with a dozen wine glasses on top of the shell of an old motorless WW Rabbit, and Savage Garden.
Rabbit was presented as part of the group exhibition entitled Datura at 100 N Prospect in Youngstown, OH. Images by Cléo Sjolander
